The Kromski wheels have the look of wheels from the Baltic area of Poland and Scandinavia. In fact, a well known spinning wheel historian has said that the manner in which this wheel is built is as close to being historically correct as he has seen. This will be a plus for spinners wanting the "real thing" and for the growing community of reenactors. The amount of decorative turning on these wheels is substantial, making them a beautiful sight to behold. The Mazurka design won recognition for Leon Kromski throughout Poland.

This is my first spinning wheel, purchased and finished by my husband. It is a wonderful wheel with so much to offer in ease of use and adjust ability in take up and twist. I would recommend this wheel for a beginner or as a forever wheel. I can say this with confidence after trying and seeing many different brands and styles of wheels at our large guild. It is also the best value for the money.

Best value for the money. Easy to assemble. A dream to spin. Love the speed of the double treadle. Very versatile from bulky to lace weight. I bought the extra large whorl and it makes spinning novelty yarns a breeze. The clear finish birch is lovely. I own 6 other wheels and this is now my favorite. A++++
